Leasing Begins at The Varsity

JLL announced the start of leasing for retail space connected to The Varsity, an adaptive reuse project that transformed an historic movie theater in Evanston, Illinois. The building now offers apartments with distinctive original details and includes approximately 8,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Restaurant tenant Guzman y Gomez will open in this location, and leasing opportunities extend into the adjacent Bookman’s Alley, which will feature outdoor seating, lighting and public art as part of the redevelopment. DMA has supported The Varsity as a project manager and investor.
