A 28,000-square-foot resale store opened its doors in Aurora on March 9th, 2011 with a uniquely green purpose. ReStore fosters the reuse of building materials, appliances and furniture, saves "green" for contractors and do-it-yourselfers, and funds affordable housing projects for the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity®. Tim Feldballe, DMA's CFO and Development Accounting Manager, is a founding member of this new green resource. For more than six years, he's also served as an executive board member and treasurer of Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity.

ReStore keeps construction waste out of landfills by accepting donated goods from retailers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors and homeowners. Shoppers have the opportunity to purchase items at greatly reduced prices, about 50% below retail. From idea to reality, ReStore's development was a three-year process, created during a drop in financial donations. Since 1990, Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity has built 45 homes.

Development Management Associates is proud of Tim's contribution to this vital organization and supports all staff efforts to benefit communities in meaningful and sustainable ways.
