Looking at SugarHouse in an architectural context

A detailed review of the architectural elements of the SugarHouse casino cites many positives–some accolades–and a few suggestions for future phases. The article notes that the building is "appropriate for its function and respectful of its setting" and calls attention to interior and exterior details, including lush plantings and green walls, sweeping river views, subtle design touches, and luscious metal hues on the walls of the gaming floor. As development manager of the project for SugarHouse ownership, DMA worked with Cope Linder Architects and Floss Barber, Inc. on the architecture and design of the casino, opening September 23.
